Strawberry Roundup ❧ 20 Recipes for Canada Day

I may be squeaking in just under the wire to join in the Canada Day celebrations here, but it’s never too late to celebrate strawberries. Locally they’re in abundance now, and this Strawberry Roundup presents you with 20 ways to use the berry that for many of us is synonymous with summer.

July 1 is Canada’s birthday (152 years in 2019), and Canadians are celebrating right across this great country of ours. You can bet that strawberries turned up at all sorts of Canada Day festivities right across the country, so this is the perfect time to present the Urban Cottage strawberry roundup: 20 recipes that feature the berry that signals the start of summer.

If strawberry season is coming to a close where you are, keep these recipes in mind for when everbearing strawberries are available later this summer. Many of them will work just as well with frozen berries, too.
